JULIA GILLARD: Prime ministerial prospect, or anti-social menace?

May 18th, 2010 by Arnold Jago in Australia, Modern Church, Mother of Jesus, Politics, Women

A Galaxy poll yesterday found only 45 percent of Australians considering Prime Minister, Mr Rudd, the best person to the lead the ALP.

34 percent want Deputy Prime Minister, Julia Gillard. to replace him.

A Galaxy spokesman commented, “Julia Gillard is now looming as a credible alternative to lead the party”.

Julia Gillard laughed this off with what she might consider a quotable quip, “There’s more chance of me becoming the full-forward for the Western Bulldogs AFL team . . . .”

Early this year, federal opposition leader, Tony Abbott, told a women’s magazine that he thought women should not “give away their virginity too lightly”.

Julia Gillard, commented, “These comments will confirm the worst fears of Australian women about Tony Abbott.”

She gave no reason why women should give away their virginity lightly . . . .

But she did expose herself as being too shallow and trendy to be leader of anything.

In a serious world, Julia Gillard would be considered a more appropriate selection as an AFL goal-kicker than as someone responsible for any matters involving conscience or respect for morality.

Australia’s feminist lobby-group “Emily’s List”, whose main interest is promoting abortion, was co-founded by this same J. Gillard, who was also, in her younger days, secretary of far left-wing traitorous organisation, the Socialist Forum.

Actually it doesn’t matter much who leads political parties.

What DOES matter is who leads the Catholic Church, and how strongly the traditional faith is defended in parish life and parish schools.

The Church — having done itself some appalling bad turns in recent decades — must now work very hard at restoring its credibility . . . .

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Holy Mary, pray for us sinners now . . . .

  • Good article. Our society will pay dearly for the crimes of abortion committed against the most innocent of all.
And for Emily to suggest that Tony Abbot’s comment about virginity equates to him identifying “the women of Australia as whores” is of course an untrue slur, but the sort one can expect from these types.

  • Good grief. Emily’s List is a group that supports women in achieving their political careers through a mentoring process. Currently our government has a 70% male representation. Their real main interests are promoting work/life balance and paid parental leave. Yes they support DECRIMINALISING abortion…you see, the law criminalises only women involved not the men involved. Address that.

On Abott’s comment about ‘not giving virginity away too lightly’ where do I start? Its the face that he thinks that women do, that I object to. Julia is an intelligent woman. When the opposition leader identified the women of Australia as whores she showed them how to respond to it… by stepping over the mud.

  • Thanks for this really well thought out article. It confirms more and more the increasing irrelevance of the catholic church in a society that believes in educating and supporting people to make decisions from an open and honest position of integrity rather than fear mongering archaic morality. Do you actually believe it is in any way useful to publish this gibberish on your website? let alone the papers you have cited where it can be found?. And to describe a socialist forum as triatorous merely reflects on you own incapacity to hold forum for empowerment of people making decision for themselves as your own desperate organisation clings to what ever power it can from making decisions for others in the name of a fictional punishing god. “What really maters is who leads the catholic church” are you serious?!!! So more people can hear about how life saving condom use in Africa is immoral? So that people can hear how exorcisms may be required for those who are into yoga and meditation? or even (my personal favorite) how leaders protect peadophiles amongst their own ranks? Catholicisms time has been and gone….RIP… move on and do something useful for a change! I wonder if you have the guts to leave this comment posted?
