ISRAEL FOLAU: a man with a message

Israel Folau, a famous Australian rugby player, was asked on social media about God’s plan for homosexuals.
He answered, “HELL…unless they repent of their sins and turn to God.”
Now he’s facing “sanctions” from Rugby Australia for what the media describe as his “homophobic” comments.
Three of Rugby Australia’s sponsors, Qantas, Asics and Land Rover, have expressed disapproval of Mr. Folau’s comments, which they say conflict with company policies of inclusiveness….
Mr. Folau’s policy, on the other hand, is to be a Christian believer — and to feel free to say so.
The Gospel on which Christianity is based makes two points clear:
(1) we humans must not judge other people’s worth in God’s eyes. But we are duty-bound to make judgments about people’s actions, including when they are sinful.
(2) we human beings are all in danger of hell unless we repent of our sins and turn to God.
